It’s hard for our family to believe that our seed for the 2012 pumpkin season has arrived and we will be planting in the next 30 days. WOW! The 2011 season, our second, was wonderful and we’re so thankful for all of the new faces we saw. When the season ended I was able to hunker down in my kitchen (my favorite place) with a variety of our crop and try some recipes. Here’s one of my favorites.
I was able to use our honey and butternut squash in this recipe. In 2012 we will again harvest our honey to sell and I’ve added 4 new pie and cooking pumpkin and squash. Can’t wait!
